If your soccer aspirations include playing for a university or college, you won’t want to miss the Prairie Open Combine (the Combine), which will take place at the Macron Performance Centre from April 19 to 21. This best-in-class program puts talented soccer players in front of coaches and scouts from across ACAC, CCAA and USports men’s and women’s soccer teams.
The Combine is a Club-agnostic event open to age-eligible players. Location is not a restriction.
Prairie Open Combine Event Schedule
Physical Testing Session – Friday, April 19. The team of experts from the Foothills Performance Department will host this elite assessment. The session will cover top speed, lower body strength and power, agility, and aerobic capacity. Your performance will be compared to your peers, providing valuable insights into your standing within the talent pool.
Open Games – April 20 and 21. Participants will be placed into teams by Combine staff on Saturday and Sunday mornings and play 8v8 and 11v11 games to showcase their skills and football intelligence.
Coaches Panel – April 20. Coaches from the invited universities and colleges will participate in a question-and-answer period where players can ask questions pertaining to post-secondary soccer.
Prairie Combine All-Star Game – April 21. The All-Star game will mark the end of the Combine event and pit the top performers from the weekend’s events against post-secondary-level opponents.
Don’t miss this opportunity to showcase your talent against the competition in front of university and college representatives. Participants will forge relationships and come away with insights into the qualities required to excel at the next level.
