American Athletic Conference Awards

Former Foothills Technical Directors Score Big
Former Foothills Technical Director Graham Kennedy was named the 2023 USports Women’s Soccer Coach of the Year! Graham had a major impact at Foothills and now he’s doing the same for STFX.
Not to be outdone, Tommy Wheeldon Jr., was named CPL Coach of the Year! Tommy was a pivotal force during his time with Foothills before moving on to lead Cavalry FC.
Congratulations, Graham and Tommy.
United Women’s Soccer League 2023 Season Awards
- Grace Stordy – Winner … West Conference Defensive Player of the Year, and named to All-UWS First Team
- Foothills – Winner … LIVE Game Day Experience
- Momo Nakao – Named to All-UWS Second Team
- Momo, Grace, and Maggie Zacsko – Named to West Conference First Team
More Foothills Members Go On To Play For Post-Secondary Teams Than Any Other Club In Canada
58 Men and 58 Women are playing post-secondary soccer in 2023. That’s up from 107 in 2022.
Many schools in Canada and the US offer great opportunities to play while earning a degree. Some even offer scholarships.
Anna Hauer NCAA Recognition
Anna Hauer is an NCAA superstar and Foothills Alumni. She started in our Youth Program and stayed up to playing with our UWS team in 2021. Anna received the Rookie Of The Week accolade from the University of Memphis Tigers twice (back-to-back) and was featured October 12th on SportsCenter’s Top 10 Plays! Congratulations, Anna, from all of us at Foothills Soccer Club!
