Foothills has introduced a number of initiatives to get more women and girls involved in sport. This can mean as a player, but also includes coaches, managers and trainers.
Originally scheduled for March 2, DUE TO WEATHER WE ARE MOVING THIS EVENT TO SUNDAY, MAR 10. This Foothills hosted session that will bring our female managers and coaches together to brainstorm ideas on how better we can support women in sport.
The event will take place from 4:00 pm to 6:00 pm at the Macron Performance Centre, and is open to all current Foothills members. We will discuss the Club’s Women in Sport Initiative and come away with a defined vision and goals for the year. This first event will include:
- Interactive Discussions
- Brainstorming Sessions
- Refreshments and Networking
This initiative goes beyond a mere gathering. It is the first of many activities to unite, inspire, and redefine the role of women in sports at Foothills and beyond.
