Northern Super League Officially Launches in Canada

Project 8 announced today that the Northern Super League (NSL), the new Canadian Women’s Professional Soccer League, will begin in April 2025. The League will consist of teams from six cities… Halifax, Montreal, Ottawa, Toronto, Vancouver, and Calgary!

As champions of the “women in soccer” movement in Canada, Foothills joined early with Diana Matheson and her team at Project 8 to make the League a reality. It’s a proud moment for Foothills to see our involvement come to fruition!

Congratulations to Diana and the rest of the team at the NSL!
