Chace started his soccer journey as a young professional player in England with AFC Wimbledon, spending four impactful years with the South London Club. A shift to Portugal brought him to Portimonense Sporting Clube. However, a significant injury in Portugal sidelined him for over three years. During this hiatus from playing, he discovered a passion for coaching and transitioned into a full-time coaching role.
A move to Canada in 2022 led him to join Foothills in the role of Fundamental Phase Lead and coach for the Club’s U17 AYSL boys team. In their first year together, the U17 boys claimed victory in the Indoor Provincials and narrowly missed a spot at Nationals. The team also reached the final at Outdoor Provincials.
Chace currently holds both UEFA C and FA Level 1 and 2 coaching licenses.
In 2024, as well as managing the Club’s Fundamental Phase (u4 to u8), Chase was Head Coach for the Boys APDL u15 team (2009 APDL), who secured their path to nationals as provincial league champions.
