As part of the club’s Academy Trainers group, he helps deliver high-quality training sessions across multiple age groups, giving players extra ball contact and consistent coaching aligned with the club’s standards. He is currently pursuing his C Diploma.Within the Academy, Karan’s role is to bring “The Foothills Way” to life on the training ground, combining technical repetition with game-realistic decision-making, and reinforcing the values of teamwork, leadership, and accountability that sit at the heart of the club’s holistic approach. Foothills places as much emphasis on character and life skills as on soccer outcomes, and Karan’s work with players supports that broader mission to help them grow as both athletes and people.
On the pitch, Karan is known for energetic, organized, and detail-oriented sessions, with a focus on strong fundamentals, good habits in and out of possession, and a competitive yet supportive environment. Working out of the club’s performance facilities, he contributes to a training culture where players are encouraged to push themselves, take feedback on board, and enjoy the process of getting better every day.
Karan shares in the club’s long-term vision: providing a clear, connected pathway from Grassroots through the Youth Club and Academy and into post-secondary or senior soccer, while ensuring every player has a memorable, positive experience in the game.
