Reese Kincaid is an Academy / Skills Trainer with Foothills, supporting players across our Youth Club and Academy environments. As an active senior player and long-time Foothills member, she brings a current, relatable perspective that resonates especially with aspiring girls and young defenders.

A defender with Calgary Foothills WFC, Reese has represented the club in League1 Alberta, and she has been signed to a youth development permit with Calgary Wild FC of the Northern Super League, giving her early exposure to a professional environment. She also serves as a leader and co-captain of the 2008 APDL girls, helping set standards on and off the field for one of the province’s top youth teams.

Reese’s story is deeply tied to Foothills. She started in Grassroots and moved through the club’s player pathway, being challenged to play across multiple positions and age groups as she developed. Highlights of her youth career include representing Foothills at national-level competitions and leading teams that have captured provincial and showcase titles.

Her performances have also opened doors beyond the club. Reese is committed to continuing her journey at the NCAA Division I level with Eastern Washington University, where she plans to study Elementary Education while competing in the Big Sky Conference. That next step is a natural extension of the standards, professionalism, and love of the game she has developed at Foothills.

Off the pitch, Reese is a familiar face at camps, Grassroots sessions, and community programs, where she coaches, mentors, and connects with younger players who often turn up in the stands to watch her matches. She talks openly about dealing with self-doubt and the importance of resilience, encouraging players to embrace the ups and downs of sport and trust the long-term process.
