Taylor Tombides brings Premier League academy experience to Foothills, where he leads our Individual Player Development Program and works across the boys’ pathway. He is head coach of the Boys APDL U14 team (2010 APDL), Academy Coach for the Boys U13 Tier 1 team (2011 FC), and assistant coach with the Foothills FC League1 side, helping bridge the gap between youth and senior football.

Before joining Foothills, Taylor spent several years with West Ham United Football Club in London as a Premier League Foundation and Youth Development Phase Academy Coach. In that role, he planned, prepared, and delivered training sessions aligned with the club’s philosophy, and played a key part in West Ham Academy’s international program, including leading tours in Australia and guiding the team to success at the Thames Ironworks Cup.

Taylor’s formal qualifications include a Sports BTEC Level 3 Diploma and a UEFA B Football Coaching License, and he is currently pursuing the English FA Advanced Youth Award (AYA). His commitment to continued learning is reflected in his innovative approach to player development, including the design and delivery of tailored Individual Development Plans.

Known for his calm leadership and attention to detail, Taylor creates a high-performance environment that still allows players to express themselves and enjoy the game. His knowledge, professionalism, and dedication make him an integral part of the Foothills staff as we continue to raise standards across the club.
