Job Title: Development Phase Manager (U13 – U17) – Full Time
Location: Calgary, Alberta, Canada

Job Description:
Calgary Foothills Soccer Club is seeking a dedicated and experienced Development Phase Manager to lead our U13 to U17 boys and girls programming. This full-time leadership role is ideal for someone who can effectively manage staff and oversee program delivery during a critical stage in player development.
Roles & Responsibilities:

Lead and manage U13 – U17 phase across all tier 1-3 teams, ensuring alignment with club standards and player development goals.

Coach one of the club’s top Alberta Player Development League (APDL) teams, with potential for interprovincial and national competition.

Deliver and monitor the U13-U17 Action Plan. Weekly reporting to academy staff and monthly reporting to senior management including Academy Director(s), Technical Director, and others to be determined.

Supervise Phase Leads within your development phase, providing leadership, guidance, and accountability.

Play an active role in curriculum design, evolution, and implementation across the phase.

Maintain the overall quality of training, extra training sessions, and the games program.

Respond to member feedback to ensure ongoing quality control and continuous improvement.

Oversee scheduling of training sessions and coaching assignments within the phase.
Requirements:

CSA or UEFA A License (or equivalent preferred); strong B license candidates will also be considered.

Proven experience in high-level youth development environments

Strong leadership and organizational skills with the ability to manage staff and program delivery effectively.

Excellent communication and collaboration skills.

Ability to deliver high-level on-field sessions in line with the club’s playing philosophy.

Willingness to relocate to Calgary, Alberta.
