League 1 Alberta 2023 Season Results

League 1 Alberta’s inaugural season closed at the end of July.

Foothills FC placed first in the regular season and then won the championship final against St. Albert Impact in front of a hometown crowd. The team’s outstanding results were especially sweet since it’s the league’s first championship.

Foothills WFC wrapped up the season by defeating the Calgary Blizzard 2-0. It was a bittersweet end to an important season for Foothills. While the team delivered a stellar performance for fans, it wasn’t enough to move them into a spot in the finals.

We wish all our players heading back to Usports all the best and look forward to watching them in action for their respective schools. We thank them and the coaches for all their efforts this season on a fantastic inaugural League1 Alberta campaign.
