Jordan Millington is Phase Lead for our U9–U10 Foundation Phase, where he helps our youngest academy players build strong habits, confidence, and a genuine love for the game. In addition to his leadership in the early years of the pathway, he also coaches the U15 Tier 1 Boys team (2011).
A long-time member of Calgary’s soccer community, Jordan brings the perspective of both coach and former player. While he is now a full-time coach, Jordan previously played in the Calgary United Soccer Association with CalGlen Crusaders FC and Foothills FC, which experience feeds directly into his training sessions. Jordan has completed the Canada Soccer C Licence and the Canada Soccer B Diploma and holds a Bachelor of Health and Physical Education from Mount Royal University, majoring in Physical Literacy.
Regardless of the individual’s age or level of play, Jordan focuses on helping players understand the game, make good decisions, and enjoy the challenges that come with higher levels of competition.
On the pitch, Jordan is known for his high-energy, detail-oriented sessions and his ability to connect with players of different ages. He cares deeply about developing great teammates and good footballers, creating environments where athletes feel supported, pushed to improve, and proud to represent Calgary Foothills.
