Calgary Foothills Soccer Club is delighted to welcome Taylor Tombides to our team as the new Head of Individual Player Development. He brings a wealth of experience and a unique perspective to the Club, having successfully transitioned from a professional playing career to elite youth-level coaching.
Taylor will work with our U11 to U17 male and female players.
Tombides Brings Extensive Experience to Our U11 to U17 Players
Taylor’s qualifications include a Sports BTEC Level 3 Diploma and a UEFA B Football Coaching License. He is pursuing the English FA Advanced Youth Award (AYA) designation and is well-equipped to lead our Individual Player Development Program.
Taylor’s professional journey includes serving as a Premier League Foundation and Youth Development Phase Academy Football Coach at West Ham United Football Club in London, where he meticulously planned, prepared, and delivered coaching sessions aligned with the club’s philosophy.
Throughout his career, Taylor has achieved notable successes, including leading West Ham Academy’s international program across Australia and guiding the team to victory in the Themes Iron Works Cup. His innovative approach to player development, exemplified by the creation of an Individual Development Program, has earned him recognition and respect within the soccer community.
Taylor’s leadership qualities and coaching expertise make him an invaluable addition to Foothills. We look forward to benefiting from his knowledge, dedication, and vision as we strive for excellence.
