Brooklyn Stiles is a Calgary native and Academy Trainer and Skills Trainer with Foothills, working across our Youth Club and Academy environments. In this dual role, she supports team coaches by delivering high-quality, Foothills-aligned sessions that give players extra touches, clear feedback, and a consistent training standard from week to week.
A long-time Foothills player herself, Brooklyn came through the Alberta Player Development League (APDL) with Foothills 06 Girls, gaining experience in some of the province’s most competitive youth environments. Over the 2021 and 2022 APDL seasons, she represented Foothills at U15 and U16, contributing at both ends of the pitch. She has since progressed into the senior game, scoring at an impressive rate in Calgary Women’s Soccer Association play with Foothills WFC (7 goals in 7 indoor Tier 1 matches) and featuring in Premier Division competition with Wolves FC.
Brooklyn has competed at the U SPORTS level with Mount Royal University, where she was part of the Cougars women’s soccer program.
On the field as a trainer, Brooklyn creates a positive, competitive environment where players are encouraged to try things, make mistakes, and learn quickly, mirroring the standards she experienced in university and senior women’s competition. Her journey from APDL player to U SPORTS athlete and Foothills staff member embodies “The Foothills Way”: developing excellent players and outstanding people who stay connected to the club and give back to the next generation.
