Foothills WFC in Alberta Premier League
In 2023 and 2024, Foothills WFC competed in Alberta Premier League (formerly League1 Alberta) as a development team for the Club’s Pro-Am program, which participated in the United Women’s Soccer League. During this time, our primary focus was on building our athletes’ skills and preparing them for higher levels of competition.
Now, as we embrace new opportunities through the Northern Super League (NSL), the APL has become an important step in our player pathway. Since 2025, this platform has become a key part of our commitment to helping athletes showcase their growth, compete at a high level, and prepare for the next stage in their development.
Under the leadership of Lee Tucker, Foothills WFC is poised to make a major impact, with ambition, talent, and preparation driving the program forward.
