We believe developing great players starts with investing in great coaches.
Across the Foothills pathway, an experienced full-time coaching team supports players. The team’s qualifications and experience span Canada and the international game. Just as we ask our players to keep learning and developing, we expect the same commitment from our coaches.
One recent example is Development Phase Manager Darren Bowman, who has now completed his AFC Professional Coaching Diploma, the highest level of coaching accreditation awarded by the Asian Football Confederation.
For Darren, the accomplishment represents more than another qualification. He says,
“This journey has reinforced my belief that coaching is a lifelong commitment to learning, leadership and development. I’m excited to continue applying everything I’ve gained to support our players, our coaches and the wider Foothills pathway.”
That philosophy extends across the Club. Our coaching team brings together advanced qualifications, professional playing and coaching experience, and a shared commitment to continually improving the environment we provide for every Foothills player.
Because when our coaches keep developing, our players benefit.
