Meet Our Full-Time Coaching Team
At Foothills, player development is not left to chance. It is led by a team with some of the highest levels of coaching education available, deep experience in professional and academy environments, and a shared commitment to helping players grow at every stage of the pathway.
All players are guided by coaches who have worked in Premier League academies, professional programs, university environments, national championship settings, and international development pathways. Their qualifications include UEFA, Canada Soccer, AFC, and English FA designations, credentials that represent years of formal coach education, practical assessment, mentorship, and experience working with players in high-performance environments.
For players and families, these designations matter because they directly shape the quality of the day-to-day experience.
- Training sessions are built with purpose.
- Feedback is specific.

Coaches understand the demands of the game at the next level and know how to support players technically, tactically, physically, socially, and emotionally as they progress through the Foothills pathway.
Our coaching team brings together a depth of expertise that strengthens every phase of the club:
UEFA A Licence – An advanced European coaching qualification held by coaches working in elite youth, academy, senior amateur, semi-professional, and professional environments. For a player, this means exposure to high-level training standards, modern tactical understanding, and development methods shaped by some of the strongest football systems in the world.
Canada Soccer / CSA A Licence – One of Canada Soccer’s senior coaching qualifications, designed for coaches working with advanced players in competitive and performance environments. For a player, this means their coach understands how to prepare athletes for higher levels of the Canadian game, including provincial, university, semi-professional, and professional pathways.
Canada Soccer / CSA National B Licence – A key national coaching qualification focused on developing players and teams in competitive environments. For a player, this means training is structured, age-appropriate, and connected to long-term technical and tactical growth.
Canada Soccer Youth License / National Youth License – A specialized qualification focused on the development of youth players. For a player, this means the coach understands not only the game, but also how young athletes learn, mature, build confidence, and progress over time.
English FA Advanced Youth Award – A highly respected youth-development qualification focused on coaching players through key developmental stages. For a player, this means sessions are designed with the needs of growing athletes in mind, balancing challenge, creativity, decision-making, and enjoyment.
AFC Pro Licence Candidate – The AFC Pro Licence is the highest professional coaching qualification within the Asian Football Confederation pathway. For a player, this reflects a coach who is continuing to pursue the highest standards of professional learning and leadership.
Goalkeeping Qualifications – Specialized coaching education focused on the technical, tactical, physical, and psychological demands of the goalkeeper position. For a player, this means goalkeepers receive targeted development rather than being treated as an afterthought within team training.
