About the Alberta Player Development League (Formerly AYSL)

Clubs achieving the National Youth Club License participate in the standards-based Canada Soccer Player Development Program (PDP). The PDP provides an environment (both in training and competition) to allow for high-quality organizations to contribute to the ongoing development of players, coaches, officials, and administrators. The APDL is the game component of the Player Development Program in Alberta. The APDL is governed and operated by the Alberta Soccer Association.
