Stuart Lindsay
U11 - U12 Foundation Phase Lead | UEFA C Licence
Stuart Lindsay leads the U11 and U12 Foundation Phase, helping guide players through an important stage of their technical and tactical development.
Before joining Foothills in 2023, Stuart built extensive coaching experience in England, working within academy environments across the south of the country, including the Wiltshire Regional Talent Centre, where his teams competed in the Junior Premier League.
Stuart holds a UEFA C Licence along with the full FA Youth Award and futsal coaching qualifications. At Foothills, he focuses on helping young players build strong technical foundations, develop confidence on the ball, and continue progressing through the club’s development pathway.
Why Foothills?
"Foothills has a strong history of developing players who progress into professional, post-secondary, and national teams. I am committed to contributing to that legacy by helping to develop the next generation of players -- individuals who will positively impact the landscape of Canadian soccer. "

Below is a closer look at the Club's full-time coaches who are helping guide the Foothills Pathway:
"Foothills is about standards and environment. We’ve built a culture where players are challenged every day (on and off the field) to be accountable, resilient, and committed to their development. It’s not just about winning; it’s about preparing players for the next level, whether that’s post-secondary, national teams, or the professional game. What makes Foothills different is the consistency of that environment. From grassroots to high performance, players are developed within a clear pathway, supported by coaches who care, and surrounded by teammates who push each other. It’s a place where, if you’re willing to invest in yourself, you’ll be given every opportunity to grow and succeed."
