Luis Tinoco
Foundation Phase Manager (U9 - U12) | CSA National B Licence, & CSA Youth Licence
Luis Tinoco leads the Foundation Phase for the U9 to U12 age groups at Foothills, helping guide players through a critical stage of their early development in the game. He is also an Assistant Coach with the University of Calgary Dinos women’s soccer program.
Since joining Foothills in 2019, Luis has coached across several areas of the club, including the Girls Academy, Alberta Player Development League teams, and the Foothills WFC environment in both United Women’s Soccer and League1 Alberta (now the Alberta Premier League).
Luis holds a Canada Soccer National B Licence and the CSA Youth Licence. At Foothills, he focuses on building strong technical foundations, encouraging creativity with the ball, and helping young players develop the confidence and understanding needed to progress through the club’s pathway.
Why Foothills?
“I chose Foothills because I wanted a demanding environment that would raise my standards and accelerate my growth. What I found was even more: motivated players, a trailblazing girls program, and daily challenges that shaped me as both a coach and a person, opening doors to higher levels of soccer.”
