This summer, Foothills Pro Camp will be led by two senior coaches from one of the world’s most respected academy systems.

Dates: July 20 – 22, 2026

Times:

• Drop-off: 8:30 AM
• Morning Session: 9:00 – 10:30 AM
• Classroom Presentation: 10:45 – 11:15 AM
• Lunch Break 11:15AM – 12:00 PM (supervised)
• Afternoon Session: 12:15 – 1:45 PM
• Wrap-up/Pick-up: 2:00 PM

Tom Curtis
Head of Player Development (U13-U16)
Manchester United Academy

Tom Curtis is currently the Head of Player Development for the Youth Development Phase (U13-U16) at Manchester United, where he oversees the progression and development of elite young players during one of the most important stages of the academy pathway.

Before joining Manchester United, Tom spent over a decade working with the English Football Association, where he most recently led the England Youth Development Phase, helping to shape the development pathway for some of the country’s top young talents.

Tom also has extensive experience in professional football as both a player and coach. As a player, he enjoyed a long Football League career, most notably making more than 250 appearances for Chesterfield. He later moved into coaching and leadership roles, including Academy Manager at Bristol Rovers and Technical Director with the Antigua and Baruda Football Association.

At Manchester United, Tom plays a key role in building environments that both challenge and support players as they transition toward the professional pathway. His work focuses on individual player development, coaching structure, and creating world-class learning experiences for academy players.

Mark Dempsey
Senior Academy Coach
Manchester United Academy

Mark Dempsey is a Senior Academy Coach at Manchester United and a former Manchester United youth graduate and professional player.

As a player, Mark progressed through Manchester United’s academy before playing professionally for clubs including Sheffield United, Rotherham United, and Macclesfield Town. His playing experience provides valuable insight into the demands of elite professional football.

Mark has built an impressive coaching career working across both senior professional football and elite academy environments. He previously worked closely with Ole Gunnar Solskjaer at Molde and Cardiff City before joining Solskjaer’s staff at Manchester United.

Within the Manchester United Academy, Mark’s role includes mentoring and educating development coaches while helping to create individualised development plans designed to maximize player potential. He is heavily involved in supporting players as they transition toward professional football and is recognized for his strong player-centred coaching approach.
