Calgary Foothills WFC UWS League Head Coach Lee Tucker was interviewed by Jonathan Ward on the “UWS Weekly Podcast” on May 21. Lee talks with Jonathan about:

  • Addressing our 2023 unfinished business after placing second on goal differential behind Santa Clarita in the very competitive West Conference.
  • Foothills’ philosophy of supporting players (like Mya Jones) to move on to pro careers.
  • This year’s roster including Izzy Monck, Anna Hauer, Andersen Williams, Sarah Kinzner, and “soon to be announced” exciting new additions and maybe a familiar face or two.
  • His coaching style and approach to road trip post-game recovery and preparing for the next match.
  • How the upcoming Canadian Pro Women’s Soccer League and Calgary Pro team will provide our female players a pathway all the way from Grassroots through to Canadian pro play.
