Foothills Players and Staff Participate in High-Performance REX Integration Camp

Foothills players and staff participated in the recent REX Integration Camp, a high-performance development opportunity led by Wayne Cleverly, former Foothills Grassroots Manager and current Canada Soccer Talent ID Manager for Western Canada.

Held over three days, the camp provided both players and coaches with a unique snapshot of what a Youth National Team environment looks like—offering invaluable insight and exposure to the standards, expectations, and operations of Canada’s elite player development pathway.

The experience began on Friday at our Macron Performance Centre, before moving to Spruce Meadows—home of Cavalry FC—on Saturday and Sunday. Lee Tucker, Foothills Academy Director was one of our coaches who participated and had this to say. “This was an incredible learning opportunity for both players and staff, providing exposure to the current priorities and objectives of the national team. The intense weekend effectively replicated a national camp environment. Wayne created a challenging, high-performance setting that pushed players to develop in all aspects of their game.”

We’re especially proud of our Foothills representatives who participated in this elite program:

  • Players: Luka Kaiser, Mark Pribytov, and Kacper Plocinski

  • Staff: Lee Tucker and Eric Gardner

We look forward to seeing how this experience helps propel our athletes even further in their soccer journeys!
