Aribim Pepple’s soccer journey bridges three countries and multiple leagues, reflecting both his Nigerian heritage and Canadian upbringing. Born in Kettering, England, and raised in Calgary, Alberta, Pepple first honed his skills with Eastside Memorial FC and Calgary Foothills, before a short stint in Spain with Getafe’s U19 side. By 2018, he was the youngest participant at the Canadian Premier League’s Open Trials, earning attention for his strength and direct play.
That same year he signed with Calgary Foothills (USL League Two), making 11 appearances and scoring three goals. His performances quickly elevated him to the professional stage with Cavalry FC, where he signed his first pro contract in 2019. At just 16, Pepple became one of the CPL’s youngest players. After returning in 2022, he produced a breakout run, setting a league record as the first player to score in five consecutive CPL matches. That form earned him the CPL Player of the Month (June 2022) award and caught the attention of European scouts.
On August 2, 2022, Arabim signed for Luton Town in England’s Championship. Loan spells followed, giving him minutes and experience: Grimsby Town (2022–23), Bromley (2023–24), Inverness Caledonian Thistle (2024), and Southend United (2024–25), where he rediscovered his scoring touch with 11 goals across all competitions and earned Player of the Month and Goal of the Month honors in November 2024.
In January 2025, Luton recalled him and sent him to Chesterfield for the remainder of the season. But his biggest move came that summer, when Plymouth Argyle secured his signature on July 4, 2025. In March, 2026, he was called up to play for the Canadian men’s national team.
Arabim’s arrival at Argyle was accompanied by optimism: “We’re starting something new here… there’s a lot of exciting players coming in,” he told Argyle TV. Yet he has also faced challenges off the field. In September 2025, Argyle and the wider football community rallied behind him after he was subjected to racist abuse online, underscoring his resilience and importance as a role model.
Aribim Pepple has lifted championships, broken records, and shown that his journey is about more than goals—it’s about belief. From Calgary to Cavalry, from the CPL to England and Scotland, and now with Plymouth Argyle, Aribim “Bim” Pepple continues to carry his story forward: a story of power, persistence, and promise.
