Georgia Wilson built a reputation as a versatile, hard-working midfielder who has tested herself across multiple tiers of English football and abroad in Denmark before returning to the south coast with AFC Bournemouth Women.
Her career began in the academy of Bristol City, where she broke through as a teenager. She made her senior debut in the Women’s Super League against Everton in September 2019 and scored her first goal in a League Cup tie with Charlton that December. In July 2020, she signed her first professional contract with the club, fulfilling the promise of her development years with SGS College and Bristol’s youth system.
After two seasons in Bristol, she chose an unconventional path, signing for AaB Kvinder in Denmark’s Elitedivisionen in 2021.
By 2022, she was back in England with Plymouth Argyle Women, reconnecting with her hometown roots. In 2023 she traveled to Canada where she spent a season with Calgary Foothills WFC in the United Women’s Soccer League. She later joined Reading FC Women in the Championship for the 2023–24 campaign before returning to Argyle in 2024–25. There, she became a fan favourite, earning Player of the Month in April 2025 after critical goals that helped secure Argyle’s place in the FAWNL Southern Premier Division.
Georgia Wilson’s performances caught the attention of the newly promoted AFC Bournemouth Women, who announced her signing in July 2025 as they prepared for life in tier three. The club framed her as a key addition to their midfield balance.
