We apologize for the late notice, however the air quality index quickly changed from a 6 at 4:00PM to a 10+ at 4:30PM. We will follow the Air Quality guidelines that are put in place by our governing bodies.
With the current AQHI value for Calgary at 10+, tonight’s outdoor activities that include games, academy sessions, sports science sessions and team training sessions are cancelled for Monday, June 29th. This decision is based on the information provided by the Government of Alberta.
At AQHI 7 and above, the Government of Alberta considers the health risk to be high and encourages the general population to reduce or reschedule strenuous activities outdoors, especially if you experience symptoms such as coughing and throat irritation

U9 Games (Outdoor)
Please verify on the CMSA website for field status – www.calgaryminorsoccer.com.
U10 – U12 Games (Outdoor)
These games are played on community fields. Please go to the website of the home team to check for field closures. Club websites can be found HERE. Field status will be updated by 4:00 P.M. on week days and 8:00 A.M. on weekends.
Games scheduled on community (club) fields must be played unless the field is closed by the club via the club’s website.
U13-U19 Games (Outdoor)
These games are played on City of Calgary fields. Check field status online HERE. Field status is updated by 4:00 P.M. on week days and at 9:00 A.M. and 1:00 P.M. on weekends.
Games scheduled on athletic park fields by CMSA must be played unless the field is closed by the City Parks Department via the field closure website.
- For Rundle, Edgee and SAIT artificial turf fields, play is only cancelled in the event of lightning and heavy snowfall, and the referee will make the official call at the field if the game is to be players. Teams can also check the SAIT field by calling the rainout line phone number: 403-284-8027.
