Foothills is an APDL (formerly AYSL) Leader

Our Club has competed in the Alberta Player Development Program (APDL), formerly the AYSL, since 2021. Since then, we have consistently led the standings in Championships won from a city and a provincial perspective.

The reason for our success is our people. We have the highest calibre of coaches, technical trainers, and leaders who have developed the best programs for young athletes. This means we attract the highest quality of players who bring home top results.

Have a look at the charts below, which show Championships won compared to other Provincial clubs.

We have been front runners in both boys’ and girls’ indoor and outdoor APDL competition. There is always room for improvement, of course, and we are already taking steps to do so. And thanks to our committed and talented staff, trainers, managers, coaches, and especially the players, we are well positioned to do so.

About the Alberta Player Development League (Formerly AYSL)

Clubs achieving the National Youth Club License participate in the standards-based Canada Soccer Player Development Program (PDP). The PDP provides an environment (both in training and competition) to allow for high-quality organizations to contribute to the on-going development of players, coaches, officials, and administrators. The APDL is the game component of the Player Development Program in Alberta. The APDL is governed and operated by the Alberta Soccer Association.
