The Calgary Foothills Soccer Club presents our August 2025 Tournament of Champions, an exhilarating event for U9-U14 players.
The Tournament of Champions is a summer event that brings the game back to its roots — players simply playing for the love of the sport. All registered players are placed into a large player pool and then randomly assigned to teams, creating a fun and balanced playing environment. Throughout the event, teams will compete in a small-sided games format that encourages creativity, freedom, and non-stop action.
This tournament is open to players of all skill levels. With minimal to no coaching, players are free to express themselves on the field, make their own decisions, and enjoy the pure experience of the game. More than just a competition, the Tournament of Champions is about fostering community, building friendships, and celebrating the joy of play.
Who can register?
Open to all skill levels – whether new to soccer or experienced, everyone is welcome.
Format:
Small-sided games allow for constant involvement, more touches, and plenty of action.
Coaching:
Minimal to no coaching. Players have the freedom to play, be creative, and enjoy the game.
