Foothills FC in League1 Alberta

The Foothills Pro-Am program plays a pivotal role in preparing players for the highest levels of the game, both in Canada and internationally. Built on Calgary’s most successful soccer curriculum, and led by Head Coach Connor Brady, the program has established itself as a powerhouse in Canadian soccer. In 2023, Foothills FC capped off a dominant season by finishing first in the regular League1 Alberta standings and winning the championship final against St. Albert Impact in front of a hometown crowd. The triumph was especially meaningful as it came during League1 Alberta’s inaugural season, earning Foothills praise for both outstanding individual talent and cohesive team play.

In 2024, Foothills delivered another strong campaign but fell just short of back-to-back titles, losing a hard-fought final to Edmonton Scottish. Despite the setback, the team’s resilience, adaptability, and commitment to excellence stood out. Player development and team cohesion continue to advance, with the club maintaining a sharp focus on the growth of both athletes and coaches, laying a strong foundation for an exciting 2025 season. 

Looking ahead to 2025, Foothills FC is hungry to reclaim the championship. With a refined approach, a strengthened roster, and elevated expectations, the team is poised for a season full of opportunity, growth, and renewed pursuit of excellence.
